Now a days people tend to spend more time on pc and software propelled gadgets like cellphones than on television because these units are interactive. You can do almost anything you want with your pc while as to that of television you only watch news or movies. Of course today’s Televisions are interactive to some extent but they can not come close to what a pc can do. So what are the advantages of watching television on pc than on television?
As I said earlier it is the interactivity of pcs that made them preferable to TV. The other one is their resolution. Regular televisions have a resolution of 640 X 480 while an ordinary pc has a resolution of 1024 by 768. And this is directly related to the quality of pictures or videos you watch on that unit. These days HD TVs are coming to market with full resolution of >1080 X720 But we have to remember that still many people have older models of TVs.
The other significant difference is the number of channels you can watch. With a television you can watch limited number of free television. While on a pc you can watch unlimited number of TV channels. Better yet you can get almost any countries channel on pc whereas you can only see specific limited no of countries channels.
The cost of watching TV on pc is also way too cheaper than watching your favorite channels on TV. Because in the former case you buy only a software while in the TV case you’ve got to buy hardware and subscription for channels.
Those people that spend much of their time with their pc tend to like watching TV on pc because they can kill two birds with one bullet. For one thing they can do their activities on a pc at the same time they can watch their favorite channel with minimized window. Still many others enjoy watching channels on television for its dedication and popularity.

iPhone 4.0 May be Launched Together with Apple Tablet PC

The iPhone 3G S doesn’t make the same grand leap that the iPhone 3G made from the first-generation model, but the latest Apple handset is still a compelling upgrade for some users. The iPhone 3G S is faster and we appreciate the new features and extended battery life, but call quality and 3G reception still need improvement.

The good:
The iPhone 3GS finally adds common cell phone features like multimedia messaging, video recording, and voice dialing. It runs faster; its promised battery life is longer; and the multimedia quality continues to shine.
The bad:
The iPhone 3GS’ call quality shows no improvements and the 3G signal reception remains uneven. We still don’t get Flash Lite, USB transfer and storage, or multitasking.
AT&T and Nokia Surge
Nokia is riding on the social networking wave as it teams up AT&T in releasing the new mobile phone called Nokia Surge. Nokia Surge is a 3G-capable mobile device which heavily supports IM, text or email, MMS, video sharing and of course social networking. Debuting on July 19, the Nokia Surge will be available for $79USD and will also come with full HTML browser with Flash support. With Flash support enabled, you can use the Nokia Surge for viewing YouTube videos. A Juicaster application is also pre-installed to fulfill various social networking tasks such as posting messages, images, videos, and comments to Facebook and other social networking sites even while you are on the move.
The Nokia Surge also feature a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard in its slim, and stylish form factor. The mobile phone runs Symbian S60 OS which gives you access to various Symbian applications.
